HIFU stands for High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound. The treatment delivers focused ultrasound energy at selected depths beneath the skin while leaving the surface intact. The controlled energy is used to support the skin’s natural renewal and firmness response over time. HIFU sits alongside RF Skin Tightening and the hands-on Fascia Lift & Firm Facial in our Lift & Firm pathway, and the right route is agreed at consultation rather than assumed.
Areas: Jawline, Double chin / under-chin area, Lower face, Cheeks, where suitable, Neck, Décolleté. We do not treat the eyelids, the area immediately around the eyes, or other sensitive anatomical zones. Your therapist will map the areas that are appropriate for you at consultation.

HIFU stands for High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound. It delivers focused ultrasound energy at selected depths beneath the skin while leaving the surface intact, and is used as a non-surgical treatment to support a firmer, more lifted-looking appearance.
Jawline or double chin is £149, full face £249, face and neck £299, and face, neck and décolleté £349. HIFU is booked after a consultation and suitability check.
At Shape Zone we treat the jawline, the double chin or under-chin area, the lower face, the cheeks where suitable, the neck and the décolleté. We do not treat the eyelids or the area immediately around the eyes.
Some clients notice an early feeling or appearance of firmness, while changes may continue gradually over the following weeks as the skin responds to treatment. Results vary between individuals.
Clients may feel warmth, tingling or brief pulses of intensity as the energy is delivered. Sensation varies depending on the area and the individual, and settings are adjusted to your comfort.
HIFU is generally considered a treatment with minimal recovery time. Temporary redness, tenderness, tingling or sensitivity may occur, and you will be given individual aftercare advice.
May not suit you if: Pregnancy or breastfeeding; Active skin infection, open lesions or broken skin in the treatment area; Metal or electronic implants in or near the treatment area; Recent facial surgery, injectables or other treatments in the area — tell us the dates at consultation. HIFU may not be suitable for everyone, and treatment should not proceed where a relevant contraindication applies.
