Why Does Chin Freezing Work?
Studies show that fat cells are more sensitive to cold than surrounding body cells, meaning no other cell is damaged during the process of fat freezing. Once the Cryolipolysis procedure is complete, the body absorbs the damaged cells and safely eliminates them through your body’s natural & normal metabolic process.
Does chin freeze treatment hurt?
Chin freeze is not a painful treatment but some may find the initial 5-10 minutes of treatment uncomfortable as the skin starts to freeze. Once the area is frozen, this will cause the area to become numb and you should not experience any pain during this time. However; some patients find having the applicator on the chin area slightly uncomfortable and you are required to sit in the same position for around 30 minutes whilst the treatment is taking place.
How long does it last?
The fat cells that are killed during the fat freezing process are removed permanently. Becuase they are dead they cannot return. Fat cells in your body don't multiply but they do increase and shrink in sized based on caloric intake and expenditure. Your will have fewer fat cells after your fat freezing treatment but the fat cells that remain can increase in size which in turn could increase visible fat.
